Like all things Apple, “Apple Music’s” numbers continue to move upward. Today, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the service now has 50 million users through a mix of paid subscriptions and free trials. The interview aired and can be found on Bloomberg Television.
For those who weren’t keeping track, Mr. Cook is announcing an additional 10 million total users since April. However, Cook did not detail how many of the users are free trials vs paid subscriptions, which is a crucial figure when it comes to catching up with Spotify which has 75 million paying customers.
