Morrissey Announces Two Manchester City Shows

Davinci / May 21, 2018

Morrissey has just announced details of two homecoming shows at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl. The Smiths legend plans to play at the open air city center on July 7th and 8th following the success of his previous UK tour dates earlier this year.

This announcement follows a divisive interview where Morrissey made headlines discussing accusations of racism and made comments about the alleged connections between Halal meat and ISIS. He also referred to Hitler as ‘left wing’ and said that London Mayor Sadiq Khan “can not talk properly”. After the headlines, he issued a statement where he denounced racism and voiced his supported for Muslims… while also advocating for the far right political party in Britain.

Tickets to his Castlefield Bowl shows will go on sale to the public on the morning of Friday May 25 at 10am from Gigs and Tours.
