Fine Dining & Chill. Kajitsu Playlist.

JQBX Jason / July 25, 2018

Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto has been secretly orchestrating the dining ambiance in one of New York’s best restaurants. Sakamoto has sculpted his own playlist for Kajitsu in Manhattan that pieces together everything from Aphex Twin, to Nicolas Jaar to Colin Stetson. The playlist is an absorbing, atmospheric selection that pairs perfectly with the menu.

The New York Times note that the composer will be kept on as ‘chief playlister’ at the restaurant, which is good news for diners.

The playlist is obviously ideal for fine dining but it’s also pretty good for working if you want something chill. Check it out.
